Entering Steps in Manually

From your computer:

  • Go to challengerunner.com
  • Fill out your username and password
  • From the drop down menu on the left hand side, type in your name
  • From there you should see the below screen. I highlighted the two areas to focus on for tracking your steps.
  • If you are entering steps at the end of each day, simply type in the number of steps walked that day.
  • If you are entering steps in a batch (i.e at the end of each week), use the top highlighted bar to click on each individual date, and enter steps for each day.
  • There is also a feature to the far left where you can click on the “texting number” and simply text in your steps at the end of each day. Please note the feature only accepts numbers, do not include any words.
  • If you are using your phone and need additional support, this video is helpful if you fast forward to the 2:25 mark.

From your smart phone:

  • Click on the challenge runner App from your smart phone (three blue bars with the words “Challenge runner” underneath. If you haven’t downloaded the app, you can do this in the app store on your phone.

  • Once you’ve opened the app, you will see the below screen:

  • From here, you can use your finger to change the date. Put your finger over any particular date bar, and slide it right or left to land a specific date. For any given date, you can enter in steps or change the number of steps walked.

  • To enter in the number of steps walked on a given date (or to change it), click the pencil icon on the right to create an entry.
  • If you have any difficulty with the entry date not aligning with the date you have chosen, please close out of the app and refresh it.
